Bart de Bont, PRC President/CEO and Senior Research Methodologist
Bart de Bont is a founding partner of Portable Insights, Inc. His responsibilities include oversight and daily monitoring of the operations of the company.

As a research methodologist, Bart is uniquely qualified to assist clients in developing data collection and sampling strategies to ensure successful telephone and online survey research.

With his years of experience in the field of market research, Bart has developed an expertise in the aspects of survey design, fieldwork and study implementation, data collection and analysis, as well as statistical analysis.

During his career he has been able to successfully ensure the quality, timeliness and accuracy of hundreds of projects ranging from political polling to marketing and opinion research for Fortune 100 clients.
His areas of concentration include Healthcare Research, Financial Services Research, IT Sector Research, Litigation Support Research, Consumer Goods Research and Political Research.
He remains at the cutting edge of marketing and opinion research by attending several industry conferences annually and brings this knowledge and experience to every client's project.
In 1987, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island with concentrations in finance, insurance and management.
His experience includes over 23 years in marketing, business management and marketing research consulting.
Bart has earned the Marketing Research Association's designation of Professional Researcher Certification (PRC). PRC is an industry recognized standard which reflects the individual's research expertise and experience. Continuing education is required to maintain the PRC designation. The MRA's goal is to encourage high standards within the profession to raise competency, establish an objective measure of an individual's knowledge and proficiency and to encourage continued professional development.
Bart is active in several industry associations including: American Marketing Association (AMA), The Advertising Research Foundation (ARF), Marketing Research Association (MRA), Council for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR), and American Association of political Consultants (AAPC).
He lives in Warwick, Rhode Island with his wife, and his two children.
